Japan Day Three

Today in Tokyo, we started out with a ninja class taught in a studio with a long family history of ninja.  We had a weapons demonstration first:

We also visited the Meiji Shrine, an important Shinto shrine.

We wandered around the Harajuku district for a bit.  Japanese teenagers love this shopping area.

Japan Day Two

We went to Tokyo Disney today and had a fabulous time.  The resort has two parks - Disneyland and DisneySea.  Since we have Disneyland at home, we decided to check out DisneySea, which is completely different than any other Disney park.


The whole park is gorgeous and the theming is so clever.  Each "land" has to do with water.  Here is the view looking at Mysterious Island:
