Blair's Tahoe Photo Shoot

It was a beautiful afternoon on Lake Tahoe, so we took Blair out to the pier and had a photo shoot:

Tahoe at Sunrise

We arrived at Lake Tahoe yesterday afternoon and Blair was a little trooper being the car most of the day. She only cried for about 5 minutes, and the rest of the time she was either sleeping or happily playing with Brack in the backseat.

We were all up early this morning and managed to catch the sunrise over the lake. Brack and I went out on the dock to try to capture the moment.

USC vs. Ohio State

Dad and Brack headed back to Ohio for the USC game last weekend and had a great time. Here is a slideshow of their trip:

Meanwhile, back in California, Mom, Jenn, and Blair watched the game on TV. Blair had a great time getting dressed up and cheering for the team:

More Fun With Blair

Blair now sits at the table with us in her highchair even though she isn't quite ready for food. She still enjoys being with everyone and participating in dinnertime conversation.

As Blair was getting out of her bath last night, she was particulary cute and we couldn't resist taking these shots:

Cutest Baby in the World

Blair gets cuter every day! She is doing great at holding up her head.

Dad's Birthday and a New Camera

Brack and I bought a new camera yesterday, a digital SLR, so now we can (supposedly) take professional looking pictures of Blair. We also had a perfect opportunity to try out the camera at my dad's birthday dinner.

Then we went over to Mom and Dad's for dinner. Blair was a little sad she wasn't able to sit at the table with everyone else.


She was happier watching football with Grandpa.

Labor Day 2009

It's Labor Day weekend and Blair is two and a half months old. Johnny and Mica visited with their little boy, Jackson, and the two babies became fast friends.

Blair also had her first beach trip yesterday, thanks in part to the wonderful beach tent that Brack bought so that she (and her mom) could stay out of the sun.

The first thing Blair wanted to do wasn't check out the water or the sunshine - she was more interested in taking a nap.

After her nap, Blair was ready to explore and have her first taste of the water. However, the water was a little cold for her liking and there were a few tears.

Being the champ that she is, Blair soon recovered and enjoyed spending time with Mommy and Daddy.
