Bath Time

Blair had her first bath this evening in her baby tub since her umbilical cord fell off. She did not like it, but she is just too cute screaming her head off.

She was a little better wrapped up in her towel:

Happy Father's Day

Brack had his first Father's Day yesterday and enjoyed spending time with Blair.

We also went over to my parents' house for dinner and we took our first official (non-hospital) family picture:

The Pensive Faces of Blair

Blair has this new thing where she gets very thoughtful and pensive, especially after eating. It's probably just digestion related, but it is still very cute. Brack managed to capture some shots:

Welcome Blair Annabelle Hudson

Blair Annabelle Hudson arrived on June 11, 2009, at 2:28 p.m. via c-section. She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 20 1/4 inches long. Jenn was induced at midnight on June 10, and after 36 long hours of labor and some pushing, it was determined that Blair's head was facing up and was at the wrong angle to come out on her own. The surgery went well, although Jenn's recovery has been slow. Everyone is back at home now and happily getting used to their new life together.

Blair had her one-week doctor appointment yesterday and got a healthy report. Although she has lost some weight since birth, she is starting to gain it back and is now 7 pounds, 3 ounces. She is a healthy eater and sleeper, which Jenn hopes will develop into a habit.
