New Hampshire

On our drive to Bretton Woods, we made a quick stop in Concord for a picture in front of the State Capitol Building.

Our first full day in New Hampshire was rainy, but we made the most of it and went fly fishing.  No bites, but we had a good time.

Our hotel was so pretty and we had a great time exploring the grounds.

The kids did a Barn Buddies program and learned how to take care of the horses and ride them.

They also found a cool tire swing.

We took a hike up on the ski slopes...what a view of the hotel!

We ended our day on a fun ropes course and wading in the creek!

Maine Part Two

We drove up to Mt. Agamenticus for some hiking and had a great time on the trails.

The weather wasn't entirely cooperating, but we wanted to talk a walk along the beach.
This is one of my favorite pictures of Blair.

Also, apparently steamed hotdogs are a thing.

Back at the hotel, the kids made tie dye shirts.  We will see how they turn out once we get home and can wash them.

On our last morning in Maine, we went on a lobster boat tour.  We had a such a great time learning about catching lobsters.

Our boat drove right by our hotel, the Cliff House.  What an amazing view!

Maine Part One

We arrived in Maine to our summer family trip.  First up was hiking in Wells Reserve.

Then, we stopped for lunch in Kennebunkport and enjoyed walking around.

We drove by the Wedding Cake House, the most photographed house in the state.

We also went to St. Ann's church, which had a beautiful lookout.

We stopped along the road at Walker's Point, the site of the Bush family compound.

The weather was nice and we were able to enjoy the pool for a bit in the late afternoon.

We had dinner at Clay Hill Farm.

We finished our night with s'mores at the hotel's fire pit.

This morning we had some rain, but we braved the weather anyway and drove out to Nubble's Lighthouse.

We also went on a coastal hike from Perkin's Cove, which the kids loved.
