New Orleans Part One

We are having a great time in New Orleans for Thanksgiving break!

Our first night we ventured out to Bourbon Street for some dinner.

We had breakfast at the Ruby Slipper Cafe.

The kids loved the aquarium.

They even tried chargrilled oysters.  Blair loved them and William spit it out.

We walked around the Garden District and saw the prettiest houses.  Here I am at the house where American Horror Story Season 3 was filmed.

We had a fabulous dinner at Commander's Palace and topped it off with a praline sundae.

Museum of Ice Cream

I bought tickets for the Museum of Ice Cream forever ago and the day finally arrived today.  The kids were off school because of teacher conferences, so we headed up to LA for some sweet fun.  It was basically one giant photo op, which we loved; plus, they fed us yummy treats in almost every room.

First Day of School 2017

The kids started first and third grades yesterday and they were so excited!

For their back to school presents, they each got a mermaid pillow.  They are soft on one side and you can write using sequins on the other.

Maine and New Hampshire Video

New Hampshire

On our drive to Bretton Woods, we made a quick stop in Concord for a picture in front of the State Capitol Building.

Our first full day in New Hampshire was rainy, but we made the most of it and went fly fishing.  No bites, but we had a good time.

Our hotel was so pretty and we had a great time exploring the grounds.

The kids did a Barn Buddies program and learned how to take care of the horses and ride them.

They also found a cool tire swing.

We took a hike up on the ski slopes...what a view of the hotel!

We ended our day on a fun ropes course and wading in the creek!
