Southwest Trip Day 2 - Arches National Park

The Hudsons arrived at Arches National Park after a long drive from Vegas.  We were excited to get out and "hike" out to Double Arches.

We ate dinner at Red Cliffs Lodge outside of Moab.  The kids were able to run around outside afterward and had a great time.

Southwest Driving Trip - Las Vegas

We headed out yesterday for our big family road trip through the Southwest.  Here are the kids ready to go in the car:

Our first stop was Las Vegas.  We took the tram to New York New York for a burger lunch.

Of course we had to stop at M&M World for dessert.

The kids each got to pick out their treats for the rest of the trip.

We hit the pool at Mandalay Bay for the afternoon and the kids had a ball.

We had dinner at Kumi, a Japanese restaurant at Mandalay Bay, which was excellent.

Dance Recital Rehearsal

It was dress rehearsal for Blair's dance recital this afternoon.  The actual recital is next weekend, but we aren't allowed to take pictures or videos during the performance.  Today, we could have at it, and Blair was super excited to be up on a stage for the first time.

Her class performed I've Got a Dream from the movie Tangled.  Blair is the second from left:

For 4 and 5 year olds, they did a pretty good job remembering the dance.  The teacher was not there to prompt them or anything!

Preschool Graduation

This evening, Blair's preschool held a little end of the year program and each class sang.  Here are the pictures of Blair with each of her classes (top row, third from right or second from right):

When we got home we took a couple of pictures of Blair with her trophy, her new prized possession.  The school really knows what it is doing with handing out trophies to the graduates.

Dance pictures and Chili Cookoff

It's dance recital time and Blair had her picture day a couple of weeks ago.  She was very excited to get her hair and makeup done by Mom.

Yesterday we went to the Tustin Chili Cookoff with Cousin Audrey. I asked the kids to say "cheese" and this was the result.  Typical Will.

Elsa and Anna were at the fair too!  Apparently, you can rent these princesses for parties.

The highlight, according to Blair, was the treat she got at the end...shaved ice!

Cabo

Brack, Dad, and I went to Cabo in March for a wedding and had a great time!  We stayed at the Hilton and it was absolutely beautiful.
