Disneyland with Aunt Laura

We took Aunt Laura to Disneyland today.  Blair as usual had a great time.  We are always discovering new things about the park.  Apparently they have a petting zoo in Frontierland.  The goats were Blair's favorite.

No really.  Blair starting hugging and trying to kiss the goats.

The characters were also hanging out at a Jamboree show.  Blair danced with Daisy and Donald.

Palm Springs 2012

We went to Palm Springs last weekend for a quick getaway with Nana and Papa.  We stayed at the Westin Mission Hills and had a great time.

I think the highlight (for both Brack and Blair) was the lava cake our first night.

We also celebrated my birthday while we were there and the kids helped blow out the candles.

Mom and Blair went to California Adventure yesterday afternoon for a special treat.  Blair was so excited to meet Jessie and Woody.

Disney Take Two

We were at Disneyland bright and early this morning when the park opened.  We headed to Fantasyland first thinking that Blair would like the rides there.  Dumbo was a big hit.

First Disney Day

As most would know, Brack and I are not spontaneous people.  Our lives are scheduled, often to the minute.  We have been talking about getting Disney annual passes for awhile now, but have never pulled the plug.  Today, after the kids' nap, we decided to jump in the car and go.  We went on a couple of rides, had dinner, saw some of the parade and headed home in time for bed.  The kids did great and Blair loved seeing all of the sights.  I am sure we will have many more memories this year at the Happiest Place on Earth!
