Return to the Pumpkin Patch

We returned to the pumpkin patch this morning for some costumed photo opportunities. Belle and Bear were somewhat cooperative.

We tried out some new rides this time. Unfortunately, the spinning tubs were a little too fast for Blair still.

She did enjoy the pink elephants and

Pumpkin Carving

We carved a pumpkin yesterday afternoon. Brack took the lead in sketching a design.

Blair's First Haircut

Even though she didn't really have the length needed for a haircut yet, Blair's ends needed a little trim, so we headed to the salon.

Renee, one of Nana's friends, and coincidentally, the same stylist who cut Jenn's hair for the first time, gave Blair a little shape.

Will's Baby Dedication

Will was dedicated at church this morning and he wanted to pose on the couch before the service.

Blair was a little less willing, but she held still for about a second:

After church, we had a brunch at Jenn's parents' house. Will was ready for some cake!

Irvine Park Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Irvine Park Pumpkin Patch today. It was pretty crowded, so we rode the train first:

Then we had a picnic lunch. Blair was too busy eating her cookie to smile for the camera:

The kids got sleepy pretty quickly after lunch, but we managed to pose them for a few pictures with the pumpkins:

Pumpkin Patch 2011

We went to the pumpkin patch this morning. Both kids were super excited to be there. We even got one of both of them smiling at the same time!

Will spent most of the time chilling in his stroller, while big sister Blair checked out the activities...

...like the train...

...and the carousel.

Then came the moment of truth. Would Blair, who is notoriously cautious, actually ride the ponies?

Success! She had a great time!

Surprising us even further, Blair was excited to check out the petting zoo and the animals.

Blair Plays Soccer

Blair had her third soccer class this morning. Her favorite part is the "water break" when she gets to get a sip of water and have a cookie. You will notice the cookie all over her mouth in this picture.

Will and Mom came to watch and take pictures.
