Audrey Caitlin!

Blair and Will's cousin, Audrey Caitlin, arrived early this morning after a two day (!) labor. Aunt Erin is doing great and we are so happy to welcome Audrey to the family.

Trying to get two young kids to pose under a Christmas tree is harder than it sounds, but we managed to get a few cute shots of them this afternoon.

Blair is still working on learning how to smile for the camera. She loves making silly faces.

San Diego Zoo

We took a day trip to the San Diego Zoo yesterday. We've previously been to the Animal Safari Park and a zoo in Chicago, but this was the first time Blair was old enough to really enjoy it and remember things.

Christmas Tree Farm

We walked around a Christmas Tree Farm this morning to get out of the house. Blair liked seeing all of the trees,

and Will enjoyed the view from his stroller.

We also rode the train, not once,

but twice!

Blair- Big Sister and Diva

Will has the unique opportunity of being the little brother to Blair, who is quite possibly the girliest little girl ever. These are the toys she picked out to give him, a purse and Barbie (who was the most recent victim to her Dr. Blair game). Will looks thrilled.

Santa 2011

After last year's Santa debacle with Blair (when we didn't even get a picture because she had a meltdown at the mall), we have been talking up Santa big time this year. Blair was pumped to see Santa tonight and kept talking about it and what she was going to ask him for Christmas.

Well...

...not so much. Maybe next year.

Will, on the other hand, was perfectly content to visit with Santa.

Thanksgiving 2011

Turkey Will was excited to wear his Thanksgiving outfit and practice lifting his head. He is getting quite good at it. He has rolled over twice so far, but good luck trying to get him to replicate that.

Will's 4 month stats

Will is now 4 months old and is growing bigger everyday. He went for his checkup today and is 14 pounds, 2 ounces (50th percentile) and 25.75 inches tall (80th percentile). His head is 40 cm around.

He is old enough to eat real food now too, so he had his first taste of rice cereal:

Will wasn't too impressed with the rice cereal, but we will keep trying. He will probably be more excited about food once he can get the really good stuff like peas and peaches!

Checking out the high chair

Will got a head start tonight using the high chair. No food quite yet, but we are getting close!

Return to the Pumpkin Patch

We returned to the pumpkin patch this morning for some costumed photo opportunities. Belle and Bear were somewhat cooperative.

We tried out some new rides this time. Unfortunately, the spinning tubs were a little too fast for Blair still.

She did enjoy the pink elephants and
