Merry Christmas! On Christmas Eve, we went over to Lani's house and we had a record-breaking 28 family members there. Blair loved all of the attention. On Christmas morning, Brack, Blair and I enjoyed our first Christmas as a family here at home before joining family at church and then presents at Mom and Dad's house.

Korth Family Photo
My mom rarely gets the opportunity to have someone take a picture of all of us, so of course she jumped at the chance at their Christmas party. This was third attempt at getting Blair to look at the camera, after we figured out we needed a second person next to the photographer trying to get her attention.

Maas Hansen Christmas Party
My parents hosted the Maas Hansen Christmas party at their house last night and Blair was very excited to wear her new red holiday dress and mingle with everyone.

Santa Comes to the Peninsula
Santa Claus comes every year to the Peninsula and so we thought this would be the perfect opportunity for Blair to meet him without having to brave the crowds at the mall. This was apparently a popular choice for many parents because it was packed. Luckily the line didn't take too long (thanks to some planning ahead by Grandpa who convinced Nana to stand in line ahead of time) and Blair had a great time meeting Santa.

Thanksgiving 2009
We have been in Alabama this week for Thanksgiving and Blair has had a great time meeting all of Brack's side of the family. Of course we have taken a ton of pictures so here is a slideshow of the highlights.

Five Month Pictures
Blair is now five months old and just as cute as ever. I tried to capture a picture of her smiling, but since the camera was not smiling back at her, I wasn't able to succeed. She does seem curious though.
Halloween Night Pictures
We had a great time on Halloween night getting dressed up in costume and trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. I decided to be a cowgirl because I already owned a plaid shirt, jean skirt, and cowboy boots. Brack wanted a costume as well and so inexpensive Indian accessories were procured. Blair, of course, was our little bear.

Pumpkin Patch Take Two
We went back to the pumpkin patch this morning so that Brack could have some fun fall time with Blair.
Here they are riding the train:

Pumpkin Patch
Today we went to the pumpkin patch for Blair's first Halloween outing. Blair was a little young for most of the activities, but we did ride the train together and Blair liked to look at everything from her stroller. Blair-Bear also posed for a photoshoot among the pumpkins!

First Food and Doctor
Blair had a doctor's appointment this morning and all things are well. She is still very tall and normal weight. We even got the go ahead to begin some "solid" foods. So tonight we had some rice cereal.
Baby Dedication
This Sunday we had Blair's baby dedication at our church. Most of the family was able to make it and we had a lovely lunch afterward. Here are pictures from the dedication as well as a couple of fun shots from the rest of the weekend.

Tallac Historic Sight
Today we went to Tallac Historical Sight where there are three estates from the early 1900s: the Baldwin House, the Pope House and Valhalla.
Rainbow Trail
We went on a nature walk along Rainbow Trail and were lucky enough to see the salmon spawning that happens once a year. Blair loved being outdoors in the Baby Bjorn, but eventually got tired and fell right to sleep.

Blair's Tahoe Photo Shoot
It was a beautiful afternoon on Lake Tahoe, so we took Blair out to the pier and had a photo shoot:
Tahoe at Sunrise
We arrived at Lake Tahoe yesterday afternoon and Blair was a little trooper being the car most of the day. She only cried for about 5 minutes, and the rest of the time she was either sleeping or happily playing with Brack in the backseat.
We were all up early this morning and managed to catch the sunrise over the lake. Brack and I went out on the dock to try to capture the moment.
